Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoghbi
Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoghbi stated that marrying at such an early age was the biggest mistake of her life, and she insists that her daughter will not make the same mistake. She added
that she will make sure that she provides her children with the best life and keep them away from the media, as well as the family problems she experienced and her divorce.
Nawal admitted that she had a plastic surgery, despite countless denied the matter on different television programs. Nawal stated that in some occasions she seeks the company of a bodyguard fearing being attacks by crowds of fans. Nawal refused to accept accusations that the cover of her most recent album does not look like her and she had major surgery done to come out with that image. She stressed that her look on the cover expressed hope, sadness and being saved by God.
The singer said she loved singing since her childhood and used to stand in front of a mirror and imitate famous singers, especially prominent Algerian singer Warda. Nawal stressed that she considers Warda as one of the best singers and loves all her songs, and her infatuation with Warda was behind her beginning her singing career. Nawal said that if she did not take on singing she would have been a business woman in the line of fashion.
Nawal could not believe that she has been singing for the past twenty years and felt that the years had flown by so fast. She added that her absence from the scenes in the recent period is due to her preoccupation with her latest album “Ma’rafshi Leeh” (I don’t Knw why), which was recently released in stores, in addition to a number of family problems.
