Egyptian actress Mona Zaki expressed her pleasure for her appointment as a Good-will Ambassador for UNICEF, saying that the move will help her to support the children in her country Egypt.
She added that she will seize the opportunity to launch campaigns aiming to increase the awareness of each mother over the rights of her and her children and to protect them from all images of violence.
She expressed her desire to meet the aspirations of the international organization that chose her to such prestigious position, saying that her campaigns will not be limited to the children of her country, as she prepares for visits to a number of Arab countries during the coming period.
She revealed that she participates as a guest of honor at “Saba Sanayea” TV drama show scheduled to be presented during the coming Ramadan, saying that she waits the offer that could attract her after her honoring for last film “30 Years”. She expressed her satisfaction over her career since its beginning.
She added that she presented a large number of drama shows in which she performed romantic roles, including “Marriage on Paper”, and “Stray Light”, in addition to a number of films, such as “First Love”. She added that she participated in a number of other works not to be limited to the romantic roles, including “Cinderella” and “Asia”.
She praised the roles she performed before artist Ahmed Zaki in a number of films, including “Haleem”, and “Sadat Days”, saying that he was keen to diversify his roles. She added that Zaki performed the role of police officer in three films, while each role was fully different from each other.
