Egyptian actress Menna Shalaby expressed her pleasure for her positive reactions to her role in “Sunset Oasis” presented during the latest drama season of Ramadan, saying that it will remain one of the strong drama works in the history of Arab drama, as it underlined a number of social issues in dramatic framework.
She added that the TV drama show underlined humanitarian relation between the Egyptian man and his wife, in addition to the difference of culture. She stressed the difficulty of her role, as she performed the role of non-Egyptian wife of Egyptian husband, saying that she was keen to deliver the details of such complicated personality. She stressed that she exerted increasing efforts during the TV drama show, while they managed to attract the attention of a large number of audience in all over the Arab world.
She added that she was keen to follow a number of drama works presented during the latest drama season of Ramadan, including “President’s Shadow”, saying that there were a large number of outstanding works that left positive impression for the fans. She stressed her keenness to follow the fans’ reactions to her works whether on social media networks or in the street, saying that the fans’ reaction is the major standard upon which she assesses her works.
She stressed that she aspires to work with Egyptian superstar Yahia Al Fakhrany, saying that she stood before him during their drama show “Seket Al Salama” presented years ago. She also expressed her hope to participate in a new theatrical performance for children.
Egyptian actress Menna Shalaby stressed that she was keen to perform well during her role in “Sunset Oasis”, saying that she attempted to deliver each detail of the character she performs and did not focus only on her look.
She expressed her pleasure for participating in the work, saying that she received positive reactions to the role she performed during the series. She added that they faced increasing challenges during filming the new series, as she remained in Siwa for a long time to end her scenes there.
