Egyptian singer Mai Seleim revealed that she prepares currently for the filming of her new video clip “Wala Kelma”, saying that it will be directed by Egyptian Director Mohamed Al-Qadi. She added that she chose the song, as she received increasing positive reactions from a large number of fans over her performance during the song.
She expressed her pleasure for the positive reactions to her new album “Shut Up”, saying that she was concerned about the fans’ reactions to her album after years of absence. She added that the reactions were extremely positive, saying that the fans’ reactions made her happy.
She added, in a statement to “Al Maghrib Today”, she was aspiring to return to singing career after years of absence, saying that her new album carries a large number of surprises. She added that she is keen to follw the fans’ reactions to the new album. She added that the producing company has the right to choose the date of its presentation
She expressed her pleasure for participating in “Waklinha Walaa”, saying that it was a good experience for her. She added that she received positive reactions over her role in the series.
She stressed that she lives the happiest moments of her life when she participates with her sisters Mais Hamadan and Dana Hamadan, saying that success with them has different taste. She stressed her aspiration to cooperate with them again whether in cinema, drama or TV programs. She said that they are extremely preoccupied in their works, adding that their preoccupation prevents her from performing singing duet.
She praised her experience of participation in TV drama show “Saba Sanaye” in which she participates with a number of superstars, including Sharif Ramzy and Engy Wegdan. She underlined the increasing challenges she faced during her career since its beginning, saying that it is normal for any actor to face challenges during the beginning of his career.
She denied that she works to compete with other artists, saying that she does not give priority to competition with other singers, while she focuses on performing her work well to meet the expectations of her fans in all over the Arab world.
