She stressed that the issues discussed by the film have not been discussed before so it deserves its current success.
She appreciated the artists staff who participated in the film, saying that they exerted increasing efforts to present such a successful film. She also praised actress Hala Sedky for abandoning her salary, saying that she has not expressed any anger when the director decided to remove a number of her scenes.
Regarding the reasons for removing the scenes, Shahin clarified that the decision came from director Kamela Abu Zekry, as the film was transcending its time limit. She added that a number of Hala Sedky’s scenes have been removed upon the decision.
She added, “Also a number of actress Samah Anwar’s scenes have been removed for the same reason. She understood the decision and did not express any anger.”
The Egyptian actress revealed that she prepares for filming another film entitled “Nassim Al Hayat”, saying that it also discussed the issues related to the woman. She stressed the need for focusing on the woman as she represents a major part of the society. She stressed that it is the role of drama to explore the social problem to find serious solutions for them.
She praised her experience as a film producer, saying that the main objective of her decision to take such a step was to present serious art not to achieve financial gains. She added that she would not participate in any new parts of Egyptian drama show “Layali Al Helmia”
