Egyptian singer Angham said that she is waiting for writer Ayman Salama to complete the writing of her new series scheduled to be broadcasted in Ramadan 2018, asserting her enthusiasm to return to TV series after her last experience in "Glance" series which achieved great success.
Angham told Arabs Today that she prefers to concentrate on her songs, noting that she preferred to halt her TV works for a while, saying "I'm basically a singer and TV series is important for me but not every year, so as to concentrate on singing, especially since there are several scenarios were offered to me, but I was not excited about them, preferring to return with a solid work."
She added "when I read the script which was written by author Ayman Salama, I decided to participate in this work, which will hopefully achieve great success, but I prefer to broadcast it in 2018 to be fully prepared."
Angham revealed that she will perform a concert at the Cairo Opera House in March, adding that the concert will be directed by director Khaled Galal, to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of Mehwar channels.
She revealed the details of the concert, saying "we began the preparation for the concert through some rehearsals and we chose a group of old and new songs to be presented during the concert," adding that she will sing a new song for the first time in this concert.
Angham expressed her happiness of positive reactions on her last Gulf song which was released several days ago and called "No one is like you", stressing that her relationship with the Gulf is very good.
Angham also revealed that she began to prepare for her new album, saying "I began to choose some songs of the new album, but I did not actually start recording the songs, as I do not like to rush in selecting the songs."
