Egyptian actor Hani Salama Cairo - Marwa Yehia “Characters from ‘A Complete One’ are present in our society...the film deals with realistic stories,” Egyptian actor Hani Salama explained to Arabstoday. The star also told us that he was not worried about the public reaction to his new movie, now in theatres in Egypt. The movie was mired in controversy since its release. About the character he plays, he said: “Abdul Rahman is torn between a group of girls, choosing one of them to marry her. The selfish nature of humans makes them want everything. That’s what Abdul Rahman does. He wants a complete girl with no flaws". Salama chose this movie in particular to return to the big screen, because once he read the script he insisted on playing the complicated part. The film is "directed to a certain kind of young people, found in all social strata". The actor was not worried about the time of the movie's release while Egypt reels political and economic conflict. “The movie is suitable for all times, even if it does not tackle the revolution,” he explained. On rumours about a disagreement between him and Khaled Youssef, because of Salama’s collaboration with director Hadi Al-Bajuri in the debut film, Salama said: “This is just speculation caused by the fact that I decided to work with another director. It is not logical for an actor to keep working with one director for his entire movie career. In addition, Khaled Youssef shall have the opportunity to collaborate with other actors." About his first collaboration with Al-Bajuri, Salama said: “I really like what Al-Bajuri did in the movie, he is an excellent director, and one of the few directors who know what an actor wants, and can direct them in a way that helps the movie. I hope we can work together again.”
