Austrian Press Agency reported thatVienna, among 17 European cities, Vienna comes fourth in the fight against fine dust emissions, according to a survey presented by the Traffic Club of Austria (VCOe) on Wednesday. The VCOe warned of grave health hazards from fine dust pollution. Among the measures analysed were obligatory filters for building machines and old lorries, infrastructural improvements for pedestrians and cyclists and more flexible parking fees.At the top of the ranking was Berlin, where 84 percent of the steps had been implemented, followed by Copenhagen and Stockholm (82 percent each) and Vienna and Zurich (80).Considerably lower were Graz with 64 percent, Madrid and London (58 percent each), Milan (44) and Rome (38).
