Specialized Saudi Clinics affiliated with the Saudi National Campaign dealt with 13,032 Syrian refugees during April 2017, providing them with treatment through 13 clinics in addition to supporting departments.
Registers revealed that 3,382 patients who suffer from seasonal diseases were treated in the pediatric clinic; the cardiology clinic dealt with 246 patients; the gynecology clinic received 780 patients; the dental clinic received 1,233 patients; and the surgery clinic received 637 patients.
The orthopedic clinic received 800 patients; the dermatology clinic received 1,243 patients; the ear, nose and throat clinic dealt with 688 cases and the immunization clinic received 346 children who were given the necessary vaccinations; and the lab conducted 723 analyzes.
Dr. Hamed Al-Maafalani, medical director of the Specialized Saudi Clinics, said the medical staff are highly qualified, and the presence of modern medical equipment helps to secure the best possible health, physical and psychological care for Syrian refugees.
