In implementation of the directives of Saudi Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Palestinian conjoined twins Hanin and Farah on Sunday arrived at King Salman Air Base in Riyadh accompanied by their father, Saudi Press Agency said.
The twins were admitted at King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMC) in coordination with King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSRelief) for treatment and the possibility of their separation, the Agency said.
For his part, Adviser at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the KSRelief Abdullah Al-Rabiah said the twins are two girls co-joined in the abdominal and pelvic areas, each with one lower limb and joined in an abnormal third end. They also share some internal organs which require delicate medical tests to determine joint organs and the possibility of their separation, he said.
