The Ministry of Public Health, in collaboration with World Health Organization Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean (WHO EMRO), will organize a training workshop on the services of occupational and environmental health, in the framework of the training program for the second group for qualified practitioners and other specializations.
The workshop, to be held on Sunday, will be opened by Director of Health Protection and Non-communicable Diseases at the Health Ministry Sheikha Dr. Al Anoud bint Mohammed Al-Thani, in the presence of a number of experts from the EMRO office.
The practitioners attending the five-day workshop are part of Hamad Medical Corporation, Primary Health Care Corporation, Qatar's Red Crescent Labor Health Centers, and companies.
The workshop is part of the Ministry of Public Health's plan to provide protection, health care and wellbeing of all employees in all fields, including industry, construction, economic, and service sectors.
