Health Minister Faeqa Al Saleh has received Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ahmed Shahizan Abdul-Samad.
The minister praised the bilateral ties, particularly pertaining to the cooperation in the field of health education.
The ambassador congratulated the minister on the anticipated conferring of an honorary doctoral (PhD) degree to the minister from Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS) on November 12 that coincides with the university's seventh anniversary of its establishment.
The minister and the ambassador discussed various topics of shared interest, primarily boosting and developing the areas of medical expertise sharing between the two countries.
The minister wished the ambassador all success in his diplomatic mission, who in turn thanked the minister and expressed his appreciation of her efforts in boosting the cooperation between the two countries.
