Doha Municipality, in collaboration with the Department of Food Safety and Environmental Health of the Ministry of Public Health, will participate in the celebration of the GCC Food Day marked annually on the 15th of April.
During this year's edition, the Municipality will organize a number of awareness and education activities on food safety. On this occasion, the Municipality displayed a number of awareness films on health and food safety and distributed awareness leaflets to consumers in commercial complexes and associations.
The event also includes the participation of school children in the annual exhibition and competition of the Doha Municipality at its headquarters at the Royall Plaza under the title "Seven steps to Maintain Food Safety" to familiarize them with their role in achieving food safety and health nutrition. A number of schools will participate in the celebration, which will run until the 20th of April.
