(serves 4-6) Ingredients 1 cup plain flour 2 tsp: baking powder pinch salt 200ml: sugar 6 tbsp: cocoa powder 250ml: milk or cream 1 tsp: coffee syrup 100g: nutty chocolate, roughly chopped 200ml: soft brown sugar 250ml: hot water cocoa powder, for dusting ice cream or cream, to serve Preparation 1. Preheat oven to 180°C and grease a medium-size oven-proof dish or 6 small ramekins. 2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and cocoa powder twice. 3. Mix milk or cream, coffee syrup and chopped chocolate in a separate bowl and add it to the flour mixture. Stir well and turn the batter into the prepared dish or ramekins. 4. Mix sugar and water and pour over batter. Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until done. 5. Dust with cocoa powder and serve with ice cream or cream. From: Gulfnews
