A collaboration between Lebanese jeweler Zeina Tahan and other artists has led to a unique jewellery collection to be presented in New York. Tahan has collaborated with Rudy Rahme, a Lebanese sculptor, Roger Moukarzel, a war photographer, and Rachid Koureichi, an international artist. Rahme is known for his exhibitions where he often performs live sculpturing, live painting and poetry evenings, while Moukarzel is well known for documenting global conflict, as well as publishing two books about Lebanese culture. A renowned international contemporary artist, Rachid Koreichi is currently based in Paris. Born in 1947, Koreichi is a master of calligraphy, famed for his unpredicatble artistic sensibilities. Each piece in the new collection is hand crafted, with Tahan fusing her own input with gold, silver wood and other raw materials. The exhibition is to be held at the offices of the Consulate General of Lebanon. The jewellery collection includes sets titled "Secrets of the Universe", "Guardian Angels" and "Le musique des spheres".
