Shaikh Mohammad honours Shaikha Fatima

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, yesterday announced that he has awarded Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak with the Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Honorary Sash. “I am pleased to award Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid’s Honorary Sash to Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Mother of Emirates,” said Shaikh Mohammad on his official twitter account. “Honoring Shaikha Fatima is not only my initiative, it comes from all Emiratis who have seen and lived her numerous achievements. Shaikha Fatima always stood by the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, extended support for Emirati women, and brought up great leaders,” he added. Shaikh Mohammad also announced on his twitter account that he has issued a directive to rename Al Wasl Hospital to Latifa Hospital, in honour of his late mother. Shaikh Mohammad’s initiatives coincide with his announcement to honour mothers on the sixth anniversary of his accession.
