The Higher Organizing Committee of Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Prize will stop accepting applications by next Sunday locally and in the Arab nations for its 11th session. The committee called in a statement on people who desire to take part in this competition to register their online websites and update them before the due date. The participants can win one of the Prize's financial awards of a total cost of USD 370,000, besides valuable awards. The awards would be presented to the winners in a ceremony held annually, to honor them under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Shekh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The prize was established under the support and patronage of the Chief of the National Guard His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah in 2001, and then covered all the Arab nations in 2007. Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Prize is an independent non-profit award in the field of technology and digital culture, in support of establishing society with high and advanced informatics awareness.
