Tunisian Interim President Moncef Marzouki will shortly embark on an arab maghreb tour which is likely to take him to Algeria, Morocco and Mauritania, President Marzouki''s Advisor Samir bin Omar has said and gave no further details. In a statement issued here last night, Samir said during the tour, the tunisian president will have talks with the leaders of thes states focussing on means of enhancing mutual cooperation, the activation of the Arab Maghreb joint action in addition to reactivating the institutions of the Arab Maghreb Union (UMA) that has suspended its annual summit since 1994. UMA was created in February 1989 and is made up of five countries: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and Mauritania. (QNA) A M/MD
