Interim President Adly Mansour returned home on Tuesday, concluding a two-day trip that took him to Saudi Arabia and Jordan. The president's first stop was in Saudi Arabia where he met King Abdallah bin Abdel-Aziz to discuss ways to boost bilateral relations. During their meeting, the king expressed his backing for Egypt and president Mansour thanked him for the kingdom's continued support during this critical phase in Egypt's history. In Jordan, Mansour probed with King Abdullah II a number of regional files and ways to advance bilateral ties, voicing appreciation for Jordan's supportive stance toward Egypt.
