The organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) organized Tuesday a party to honor Saudi prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) over his humanitarian efforts and contributions. During the event, OIC Chief Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu issued a statement that highlighted bin Talal's role in humanitarian and social domains. Ihsanoglu reiterated that KHC is a symbol for value-governed institutions that believes in serving human beings regardless of race, nor field of work. Alwaleed, one of richest people in the world, is consciously and widely involved in philanthropic activities, not only in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, but also regionally in Arab and Islamic countries, and globally.
