US President Barack Obama arrived in Dallas late Wednesday to urge Texas to join his signature health care law. Speaking to volunteers in Dallas, Obama compared the problem-plagued federal health care website to a store that has a good product for sale and not enough cash registers to ring up the purchases. Obama said "nothing drives me more crazy" than knowing that good insurance plans are for sale under the Affordable Care Act, which is dubbed Obamacare, but people are having trouble getting onto the website to buy it. Obama will meet with navigators hired by the Communities Foundation of Texas to help people enroll through the troubled health care website. He will then head to back-to-back fund-raisers for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, the party arm tasked with electing as many Democrats to the U.S. Senate as possible. The Republican-led Lone Star state has the highest rate of uninsured Americans in the nation. The U.S. federal government lurched into a 16-day partial shutdown after Congress failed to pass a funding bill before Oct. 1, the first day of the 2014 fiscal year. Republicans in the House were demanding changes to Obamacare, in exchange for funding the government, which the White House rejected.
