National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim and his accompanying delegation arrived here for a two-day official visit to France where he is expected to hold meetings with several French officials. During his stay here, the speaker is scheduled to meet Senate President Jean-Pierre Bel, National Assembly Speaker Claude Bartolone and Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius. In earlier remarks on the visit, the speaker said his tour came at the invitation of the French parliament and aimed to deepen French-Kuwaiti relations in political, parliamentary and economic fields. He added that his talks with French officials would focus on regional and international issues and the sharing of experience. The speaker was welcomed at the airport by Kuwaiti Ambassador in France Ali Suleiman Al-Said and several other Kuwaiti diplomats.
