German Chancellor Angela Merkel will make a working visit to Russia on June 21 at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin to take part in the 17th St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Kremlin press service reported on Thursday. “During the talks, Putin and Merkel are expected to discuss a wide range of bilateral and international issues, including cooperation within the G-20 and the implementation of the agreements reached during Putin’s working visit to Germany on April 7-8,” the press service said. The Russian president and the German chancellor are planning to meet businessmen of both countries and take part in a ceremony of opening the joint exhibition, “Bronze Age.
