British Foreign Secretary William Hague arrived here on Wednesday on a two-day official visit, following the visit of British Prime Minister David Cameron earlier this month, said an official press release. A statement issued by the British High Commission said that the visit underlines the UK's continued commitment to a deep, long-term, and strategic relationship with Pakistan. The British prime minister was the first foreign head of government to visit Pakistan following the formation of its new government. During the visit, the foreign secretary will be discussing the strength of bilateral UK-Pakistan relations, further strengthening both business and cultural ties, and Pak-UK mutual interests in promoting stability in the region, the press release added.
