His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa arrived in Kuwait today on a brotherly visit during which he will meet Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, Crown Prince Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah and Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah to discuss ways of bolstering bilateral relations and cooperation. HRH was welcomed at the airport by his Kuwaiti counterpart, the Deputy Premiers, ministers, senior officials and the Bahraini Ambassador to Kuwait. HRH the Prime Minister expressed, in a statement, happiness about visiting his second homeland, Kuwait, extending Ramadan good wishes to the Kuwaiti Amir and conveying the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Bahraini people to Kuwait’s leadership and people. He said the visit aims to further solidify the deep-rooted Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations which set a model in cooperation and fraternity. “It is also part of continuous coordination between both countries’ leaderships and governments for the best interest of the Bahraini and Kuwaiti peoples as well as the GCC countries,” he added, expressing thanks and gratitude to Kuwait for its supportive stances to Bahrain. HRH underlined Bahrain’s support to Kuwait, describing such meetings as an opportunity to reassert solid bilateral ties and discuss the fast-paced regional developments.
