Al Ain Zoo has announced a wide array of traditional performances and entertainment activities during the Eid Al Adha holidays for an unforgettable family zoo experience.
The festivities will include numerous cultural activities, with a special focus on Asian culture, which will be taking place throughout the month of October.
Commenting on the celebrations, Rashed Al Saadi, Communications Manager at Al Ain Zoo said: "We always strive to provide our visitors with an unmatched and unforgettable experience, particularly during the holidays. Visitors of all ages get to enjoy and discover the Zoo's diverse species in a fun and exciting environment, and are encouraged to interact more with animals through fun experiences.
"We will also be launching ‘Asian Month' during Eid, where we will be focusing on Asian culture, heritage, and art." Guests will experience a range of entertainment activities including Bird and Parrot Shows, as well as performances that reflect Asian culture and traditions. An exciting workshop has also been planned for our young visitors, where they will get the opportunity to craft and design their own umbrellas, fans, and lanterns.
Additionally, a painter will be creating a canvas that will focus on a specific animal story, filled with fun-facts, further reflecting the importance of animal conservation programmes at the Zoo.
Al Ain Zoo's doors during the Eid Al Adha will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. After the holidays, regular hours will resume from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Saturday-Wednesday) and from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Thursday and Friday).
