The General Women's Union yesterday launched the Curriculum Vitae application of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, GWU, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, FDF, and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, on smartphones using the Android operating system, as the first mobile biography application at state level, demonstrating Sheikha Fatima's commitment to further the march of the pioneering personality of women working in the state, and as part of her support for the issues of Arab women regionally and internationally.
In a statement on the occasion, Noura Khalifa Al Suwaidi, the Director of the General Women's Union, said that the launch of this interactive application coincides with the Mother's Day anniversary and International Women's Day, for the importance attached with these great occasions in the march of Emirati women's progress and also to celebrate achievements and gains made at the local level.
