Chinese ambassador in Cairo Song Aiguo

The Egyptian Culture Minister opened the "Arab-Chinese woman summit" conference at Semiramis Intercontinental hotel in Cairo Thursday morning.
The opening session witnessed a speech by each ambassador - Chinese ambassador in Cairo Song Aiguo, Mervat Al Talawy the chairperson of Egyptian woman national council, and Asma Khedr the Secretary General for the national committee for Jordanian woman affairs.
The conference was attended by more than 200 prominent people, awarding several leading women - including the first female Egyptian Chancellor, the Judge Tahani El Gebaly, the current Vice President of the Supreme Constitutional Court of Egypt, and the director of Chinese woman activities Vuh Xiang, plus many more.
The conference ended in a session announcing recommendations, accompanied by a celebration entitled "Cairo Night for Chinese Woman" which included several artistic shows from Egypt and China.
