CEO of Dubai Women Establishment Shamsa Saleh
Dubai Women Establishment has announced its participation at W4SG Annual Summit on Forward Together that will be held from 19th to 20th May with the participation and presence of prominent women leader figures Scandinavian
countries and the Middle East.
The move comes in line with the vision of H.H. Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Women Establishment, to enhance the presence of Emirati Women globally.
The W4SG Summit aims to create a network of women leaders from Scandinavian countries and the Middle East to exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation amongst the countries.
The summit will focus on the importance of sustainable development that serves women, review the best practices in the workforce to enhance the role and participation of women in the work sphere. In addition, the summit will also tackle the growth of universities in innovation, whereas it will also address women leader success stories.
Commenting on the participation of DWE, Shamsa Saleh, CEO of Dubai Women Establishment said, "The importance of Dubai Women Establishment's participation in such events comes from its goals of exchanging opinions and ideas that discuss the challenges of women in the work sphere and emphasizing on the development of women leadership to benefit the future." Saleh added, "In line with our main objective which is to develop and maintain the potential and success of Emirati women, DWE has invited the graduates of Women Leadership Exchange Program to participate in the Summit to enrich their experience, and become valuable contributors of their societies." Hessa Tahlak, Director of Research, Development and Projects will represent Dubai Women Establishment, whereas, the graduates on Women Leadership Exchange Programme will also attend the W4SG Annual Summit. Hessa will present the success of Dubai Women Establishment and its contribution in enhancing the success of women locally and globally. She will also present the initiatives and projects of DWE, and the participation of women in the work sphere.
Dubai Women Establishment has participated in different forums regionally and globally such as Women Conference in South Korea in 2007 and 2008 and the Women's Forum in France 2009 '&' 2013, and the Arab women forum in Beirut in 2009, in addition to the first edition of the Women's Forum and Sustainable Development in Sweden in 2010.
