Jordan and the United States, on Tuesday, signed a 235-million-dollar grant to support education in the Kingdom over the next five years.
The deal will help strengthen the quality of education through professional development and

The funding will be spent over the next five years. The U.S. government has funded the construction of 27 new and expansion of 38 existing schools in Jordan.
The agreement was signed by Minister of Education, Mohammad Thunaibat, and Minister of Public Works and Housing, Sami Halsah, and U.S. Ambassador to Jordan Stuart Jones, and Director of USIAD in Jordan Beth Beige.
