Zaqaziq university campus
Seven students were injured in clashes in Zaqaziq University between students supporting the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group and others who are not supporting the group.
Some university buildings were damaged due to
the clashes.
The confrontations started when the supporters of the MB staged a march inside the university during which they chanted slogans calling for reinstating ousted president Mohamed Morsi and attacking the police and army.
Students opponent to the MB became angry and started chanting slogans supporting the police and army.
Birdshots and Molotov cocktails were used in the clashes. The injured were carried to hospital for treatment. The security of the university managed to control the situation and calm was restored.
