.
Tarek Al-Suwaidan, who admitted the allegations, was the director general of the Kuwaiti satellite channel, which belongs to Alwaleed's Rotana Group -a large pan-Arab media conglomerate based in Riyadh, belonging to the billionaire prince.
Al-Suwaidan openly criticised Egypt’s military-back government for its violent crackdown of protesters, and expressed his support of former Egyptian president, and Brotherhood leader, Mohammed Morsi.
