Iraqi journalist and activist Jumana Mumtaz has been awarded the best junior media figure for her role in fighting the extremist ideologies of Islamic State (IS) group.
Mumtaz has used social media websites as platform to communicate with her followers in her fight against IS and promoting the co-existence culture. She also supported the Iraqi army’s effort in liberating Mosul and combating terrorism.
