Gunmen on a motorcycle shoot at Pakistan media office

Two people have been injured after gunmen opened on a motorcycle opened fire on the Express News office in Karachi
.
One female member if staff and a security guard were taken to hospital, after more than 30 rounds were fired at the building.
Akmal Hussain, an economics professor and social activist, said, “It is a matter of grave concern that such a dastardly attack has been made against the Express News, which is in the vanguard of the struggle against bigotry, barbarism and violence to sustain democracy, rationality and humanity in Pakistan."
He called on Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif protect journalists from such attacks.
Express News is an Urdu language news channel that is owned by the Lakson Group.
