Cockpit of future Mercedes AMG GT
Mercedes has unveiled the first images of the inside of its AMG GT sports car, which is slated to go on sale this fall. The new supercar is expected to pack a V8 engine with at least 450hp. As car fans await additional information on the
model's performance and overall appearance, Mercedes opted to reveal the car's cockpit, which presents a sophisticated and sporty design.
The car's controls are located on the central console which, with its two rows of buttons, resembles a V8 engine. The dashboard, meanwhile, features an integrated touchscreen. Mercedes chose to upholster the interior of the supercar in racy black and red leather.
The Mercedes AMG GT will likely premiere at the Paris Motor Show and arrive in dealerships immediately following the event, replacing the SLS AMG in the German manufacturer's lineup.
The Paris Motor Show (Mondial de l'Automobile) takes place from October 4 to 19. Website: mondial-automobile.com
