Because over the weekend, industry experts named the best hotels, airlines and cruise lines at the North American and Caribbean edition of the World Travel Awards.
Winners are determined by travel professionals as well as non-industry voters.
Some of the big winners include California’s wine country, Napa Valley, which was named the leading honeymoon destination in North America, and the Four Seasons resort in Whistler, which was named the leading luxury resort.
Delta Air Lines took the title of leading airline, while the Hilton Bentley Miami in South Beach Florida was named the leading hotel.
Meanwhile, vacationers looking to book a sun-soaked tropical holiday may want to consider Turks and Caicos, which was named the leading beach destination in the Caribbean where you’ll also find the Amanyara Villas, named the leading luxury resort in the Caribbean portion of the awards.
Antigua and Barbuda was named the most romantic destination in the region and its Sandals Grande Antigua Resort and Spa the most romantic resort.
