Susan Sarandon in Stella McCartney Dress It might be this season but the Stella McCartney's Polka Dot Lucia Dress has already made plenty of appearances on the red carpet. And it appears that Susan Sarandon is the latest fan of the popular
party frock and donned the black dress with sheer polka dot panelling at an event last night.
The Oscar winner,65, was snapped rocking the Lucia frock in New York at the 2011 Somaly Mam Foundation Benefit Gala. She paired the dress, which costs $2,155 with peep toes sandals, wind swept hair and minimal jewellery.
While the dress showed off the glamorous star's womanly curves, it appeared a size too large and looked bizarre with the strap from her white brazier visible underneath her gown's see-through sheer panel.
Susan's styling was less than impressive, when stacked up against other stars who have worn the dress to A-list red carpet events.
Kate Winslet chose the daring style in March for a movie première while BET host Rocsi Diaz wore it last month to a party in New York
While Susan Sarandon is fashionably late on the popular trend, she should at least be commended for putting her time toward an important cause.
