Pop star Kylie Minogue
Kylie Minogue is releasing a book commemorating 25 years of fashion throughout her career, featuring contributions from some of the world-famous designers to have worked with her - from Jean Paul Gaultier to John Galliano.
The book, entitled Kylie/Fashion, is part of the singer's celebrations of reaching a quarter century in the music industry.
"This book charts my relationship with some of the most talented people in fashion throughout my career," explained Kylie. "It makes me very proud to see gathered together all the great designers and houses I've worked with over the years. Looking through my personal archives has been a real trip down memory lane and it is the fashion that brings back moments and memories of the last 25 years."
The style retrospective takes a tour through some of Minogue's many spectacular stage costumes and music video outfits - including the infamous white hooded cat suit from the Can't Get You Out Of My Head video, to those skimpy gold Spinning Around hotpants, and the dramatic Grecian-inspired designs from her Aphrodite world tour.
"For us, it's always a pleasure to create something special for our little princess," write design duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. "In the Aphrodite costumes, Kylie truly looked like a goddess."
Featuring previously unseen images of the Vogue cover girl, Kylie/Fashion features commentary from Minogue and her creative director William Baker, as well as a foreword by Jean Paul Gaultier. Other designers to contribute include Stella McCartney, Christopher Kane and Giles Deacon.
Kylie/Fashion is set for release on November 19, published by Thames & Hudson.
