After last season's advertising campaign, which starred Barbadian pop-icon Rihanna, the Parisian luxury brand has turned to a diverse cast of young models.
Balmain has teamed up with photographer Mario Sorrenti and stylist and art director Katie Grand for an exciting new campaign for Fall/Winter 2014.
Starring Ysaunny Brito, Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn, Issa Lish, Kayla Scott, Binx Walton, and Jackson Hale, the images show off the brand's latest collection of safari chic and hip-hop influenced styles.
"I could not be more happy with this campaign," said Balmain’s Creative Director Olivier Rousteing. "It illustrates my vision of the house. These six different women, from such an incredible mix of backgrounds, are all united to present what a modern French house can be."
There's serious fashion pedigree to the campaign: British models Delevingne and Dunn are both Burberry regulars, while fellow star Binx Walton has become a favorite of designers including Phoebe Philo and Neil Barrett. The seven-strong cast replace Rihanna, who was shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for the Spring/Summer 2014 campaign
Paul Hanlon took care of hair on the latest shoot, with makeup by Lucia Pieroni. The print campaign will debut in leading fashion magazines worldwide in July 2014.
