Camila Alves breathtaking in the campaign
Brazilian model and actor Matthew McConaughey's new wife, Camila Alves is now brand ambassador for Macy's I.N.C. International Concepts private label. For their first campaign together, photographer Walter Chin
shot the Brazilian model in the California deserts in a mix of curve-hugging body-con dresses, and some relaxed denim and knit separates. The Fall collection also incorporates many of the colors that took Fashion Week by storm last February including, rich gem tones in teal and burgundy.
“I’m really loving the bandage dresses right now,” said Camila. “And, I love the denim as well. The denim reminds me of the denim in Brazil: it’s very light, stretchy, it hugs you in the right places. Gives you a nice back.”
The model announced she was pregnant with her third child earlier this month, but she was actually already in the throws of morning sickness during the desert shoot.
The 30-year-old revealed: “I found out I was pregnant a week before the shoot. The I.N.C. people knew, but the crew, everyone else didn’t and, you know, I was getting sick…”
She also described her teaming with I.N.C., which will continue through 2013, as a fully-fledged partnership. She revealed that her work with I.N.C. goes some way beyond just being a face for the company, comparing her new contract with the company as being more of a partnership than anything else, admitting that she has since visited the company's headquarters in a bid to "understand the whole process" of how the whole fashion show is run.
Camila will appear in numerous advertisements for the brand in the coming months, along with an interactive online section set to debut in August.
