The Abu Dhabi-based Tawazun group is to participate in the International Defence and Security Exhibition due to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from April 14th -17th.
Tawazun CEO, Saif Mohammed Al Hajeri, said the company would take part within the UAE's stand at the show, adding that it would be an opportunity to exchange views and get acquainted with the latest technology in this field. He said this would allow the company to reach more markets in the world.
"This participation is also a chance for us to sign deals for joint projects which allow us to attract technology and investment to the UAE," he said.
He said partnerships with global companies would also ensure training for national manpower and support the UAE in its plans to build a defence industrial base.
He noted that Brazil is one of the UAE's key economic and trade partners and that it possesses great capabilities in the defence industry. "This show is also a chance for Tawazun to highlight its latest products and services for industrialists and investors seeking business in the UAE," he said.
A large number of global firms are taking part in the show which covers industrial products in security, defence and military sectors.
