Spain's King Juan Carlos has accepted the invitation of Morocco's King Mohammed VI to make an official visit to Rabat from July 15 to July 17.
Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Garcia-Margallo, said the visit will be "extremely significant at the political level, given the current circumstances, and very important at the economic level too."
He added: "Morocco is one of the countries given priority to within Spain's foreign policies" and that Spain had become "Morocco's top trade partner."
King Juan Carlos, Margallo said, will be accompanied by all of Spain's former foreign ministers.
According to Joan Rosell, President of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations (CEOE), 20 entrepreneurs will be part of the the king's delegation.
