Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum led the 2 day summit
MBC group, one of the founding members of the E-commerce Working Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Dubai and a number of prominent business partners,
with the aim of making Dubai a regional hub for e-commerce in the region, and creating a stimulating work environment to enhance the growth in e-commerce sector.
The MoU agreement came within the framework of the activities of the third annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit, hosted by the United Arab Emirates, under the guidance of the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
E-Commerce Working Group includes a number of major companies and institutions working in the public and private sectors, varying between the media sector, communications, logistics, electronic equipment, software, banking sector, social networking sites, search engines on the Internet and others.
The third annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Dubai has been discussing various opportunities to establish business, and the possibility of development and ways to meet the challenges facing business and investment.
Moreover, the summit has looked into a number of the available options to enhance the growth of businesses and emerging companies, and to attract young entrepreneurs.
The summit also seeks to familiarise the participants from around the world with the successful Arab businessmen and entrepreneurs of SMEs, and to highlight the initiatives and procedures required for facilitating the work and creating a motivating environment to establish and expand their projects.
