The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has launched its "Dates Distribution Project" to sisterly and friendly countries ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan, by shipping 311 tonnes of dates by sea and air to 21 countries around the world.
The distribution of these seasonal shipments of dates is an affirmation of the institution's keenness to improve the lives of categories that suffer difficult living conditions during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The distribution will take place in cooperation with the relevant embassies in those countries.
Countries receiving the shipments are: Kazakhstan, Bahrain, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Turkmenistan, Egypt, Morocco, Lebanon, India, Tanzania, Japan, Germany, Belgium, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Serbia, Ireland, Spain and Portugal.
The Khalifa Foundation is keen to support the categories that suffer from difficult economic conditions worldwide. As usual each year it allocates the quantities of dates during the holy month of Ramadan to the needy in the sisterly and friendly countries.
