Qatari diesel to Gaza
Gaza – Mohammad Habib
The radio of the Israeli army, has announced that both the defence minister Ehud Barak and the environmental protection minister Gilad Erdan have ratified a deal, to allow Egypt to transfer 30 million litres
of Qatari diesel fuel to the Gaza Strip, in order to run the power plant.
The radio, quoted Erda on Tuesday morning as saying that the request Egypt had submitted recently has been signed, and with complete consensus of the prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who also decided to approve the request.
Netanyahu claimed that the Israeli approval, is a message to Egypt and Qatar that the government of Gaza is the reason behind the current suffering of the children of Gaza, claiming that Israel is always there to respond to the humanitarian needs.
Qatar had contributed a shipment of fuel needed to run the power plant a month ago, but its transfer to Gaza was impeded due to unknown reasons.
