Growth is strengthening in most advanced economies but several emerging nations continue to slow, the OECD said Wednesday. The OECD said index of composite leading indicators (CLI) showed that growth was holding at above
trend in the United States in Japan, while it continued to improve in the United Kingdom and the eurozone overall.
Inside the eurozone, the CLIs show growth strengthening in Germany while a switch to positive momentum in France and Italy.
Among the major emerging markets, the CLIs showed growth returning to trend in China and a tentative return to positive momentum in Russia.
In India and Brazil growth remains below trend.
