A high-profile delegation of the Egyptian Manpower Ministry has continued its discussions with officials of the Jordanian Labor Ministry to reach a consensus over problems facing Egyptian migrant workers and ways to enhance their conditions.
The delegation underscored the importance of boosting bilateral cooperation and enacting joint memorandum of understandings for the interest of both sides.
The most important terms of a memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides late 2012 were also discussed.
The Egyptian delegation hailed the cooperation and efforts of the Jordanian government in this regard.
The Jordanian government attaches great importance to Egyptian labor because of its experience and efficiency, a Jordanian official said, noting that the Egyptian workers constitute 62% of migrant workers in Jordan.
