Dubai World Central (DWC), the world's first purpose-built aerotropolis, has partnered with major business organisations in U.A.E. in a bid to promote its rapidly expanding Business Park Free Zone to the country's growing business community.
DWA said its DWC Business Park, under its recent collaborations, hosted various key business activities and functions as well as sponsored different main events of reputable business groups such as German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Trade, Australian Business Council, Russian Business Council, Benelux Business Council, and South African Business Council.
Recently, DWC -Business Park supported the Inter Business Council Networking Evening 2014 as one of the event's main sponsors. Held at the Hotel Sofitel down town Dubai, the event gathered more than 400 members of 21 international business councils to recognise their contributions to Dubai's exponential growth over the past years.
The activities provided a platform for DWC Business Park to network with leaders and decision makers and showcase its world-class facilities that meet the unique requirements of various business entities. Moreover, the DWC Business Park - as the bronze sponsor - served as the key partner of Canadian Business Council in their latter's recent activities.
Paolo Serra, VP, and BUSINESS Park- Dubai World Central , said, "The Business Park, one of DWC 's major components, offers a fully integrated business environment over and above its state-of-the-art amenities and infrastructure. It is designed ground up around the concept of business facilitation. Currently, more than 1,000 companies, including Nestle, CEVA Logistics, Helukabel, Sinopec Petroleum, and Metalloinest, have business operations here and the number is increasing by 10 to 20 per cent monthly. We hope to further sustain this expansion through constant collaborations with different business institutions in U.A.E." "We have already established strategic partnerships and built strong relations with many business councils and their members over the past years. We look forward to further reinforcing our cooperation with them and we hope to be consistently part of their future events and activities," Serra added.
Centrally situated in the DWC, the area is easily accessible. It is 45 minutes from Abu Dhabi, 25 minutes from new Dubai, and ten minutes from Al Maktoum International Airport. It is directly served by Sheikh Zayed Road, Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road.
