Roger Waters confirms Palestinian support in statement

In a recent interview with the Huffington Post, Waters had said he was reconsidering his "cultural boycott of Israel.” The interview was misconstrued, and led many to believe that Waters was reconsidering his support of Palestine and the Palestinian people. This is not the case.
The statement, issued by the founding member of Pink Floyd, called for a continuation of the cultural boycott of Israel, “until such time as the Israeli government ceases its illegal occupation of Palestinian lands.” He added: “Peace for them both (Israel and Palestine) is our goal. Not to talk is not an option.”
