Haw protested against UK foreign policy
The life of anti war protestor, Brian Haw is to be made into a musical.Haw spent 11 years camped outside the Houses of Parliament in London, England. He protested against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The Times reported that Mr Haw’s son, Peter, has been working with the Youth Musical Theatre to turn the story of his father into a musical.
He said he has “big hopes” for the show, and that it will be “epic.”
Brian Haw died in 2011, succumbing to lung cancer. He became a symbol of the anti war movement and was voted as the most inspiring political figure at the 2007 Channel 4 political awards show.
